Asparagine and has galactagogue properties which may assist lactation. It

after menopause.
It is referred to as Shatavari in traditional
Ayurvedic medicine, and is used as nutrition for balancing, nourishing and
toning the female reproductive system, helping maintain menstrual wellness and
assisting sexual debility.
The name Shatavari is said to literally mean "she who
possesses a hundred husbands".
