Aloe Vera Juice is a vegetable
juice drink made from pure aloe vera gel and purified water, and it is processed using
modern extraction techniques, research, and technology.
It contains many biologically active compounds
that support the digestion and absorption of food and nourish the intestinal
system. It also soothes the skin and the tissues lining the digestive tract.
NSP aloe vera is processed in a special way to
avoid the loss of essential vitamins, minerals and other constituents. The leaf
is filleted, then the green outer portion that contains aloin is removed,
leaving the gel that remains in the leaf. The gel remains thick when the leaf is
first cut, but after a few minutes, an enzymatic reaction causes it to become
liquid and freely run out. It is this 100 percent pure liquid that NSP collects.
To prevent bacterial contamination,they add
sodium benzoate as a preservative. Sodium benzoate is effective in very small
quantities, and it properly and safely preserves aloe vera juice.
NSP also leaves the taste in the juice. By
removing the taste the product may only be left with 10 to 15% of aloe vera.
Drink with meals or as it is, or mixed with fruit or vegetable juices if desired.
It may be used directly on the skin as well.
Also available in gel form for external use,
with Irish moss extract to thicken.
