Licorice Root is a familiar name as many eat licorice
confectionary. It provides nutrients to help that wound up feeling inside, the
bottling up of feelings, the innermost stress, the uptight feeling. (as opposed
to the outward showing, jittery nerve type stress).
I learned to drive stress free after starting a course of this herb
on the advice of a naturopath. Before that I was a total mess. This was the
first herb in capsule form that I had ever tried.
Licorice also comes in tea bag form in supermarkets and makes a
delicious naturally sweet drink. The capsule is much stronger however. It is said that it is also used in many
food preparations throughout many countries and has done for thousands of years.
The cleansing of the villi in the bowel does not necessarily mean

cleanse. e.g. the motion may stay formed, but may also have some watery
substance as well. This is a good thing not bad.
“Unclear” voices may also be helped with this herb by its soothing
and relaxing effect to the throat area.
